ChaseHealthAdvance. Beware of hidden terms and fees. Charged over $850 in fees on a 0% loan.

Beware of ChaseHealthAdvance loans. There are hidden terms and fees that could cost you big time. The customer service is horrible. I just paid over $850 in extra fees/interest. There are so many questionable business practices with ChaseHealthAdvance including holding you accountable for payments even if you don't get a statement ("statements are a curtesy"), changing the due date of your loan without notice, huge interest if they consider a payment late, lengthy periods to process payments, not returning phone calls in a timely manner, inconsistent answers from customer service, "hidden" terms and questionable terms that you may only find out after it is too late. Read other complaint sites and check the BBB site before doing business with ChaseHealth - you'll be glad you did!

I OPENED MY ACCOUNT IN AUGUST 2010 AND WAS VERY UPSET THAT THEY COULD NOT PROCESS A PAYMENT WITHIN 7 DAYS. I PAID MY BALANCE WITHIN 6 MONTHS TO GET AWAY FROM THE SCAM OF HOLDING PAYMENTS.

I WAS TOLD THAT THE LATE FEES WERE REVERSE BUT LATER FOUND THAT THEY DID NOT. I JUST RECEIVED A NEW STATEMENT WERE THE BALANCE WENT TO 572.00 FROM 117.00...NO ONE COULD TELL ME THE EXACT DATES WERE THE LATE FEES ORIGINATED FROM BUT KEEP ADDING THE 39.00 LATE FEE EVERY MONTH PLUS OUTRAGEOUS INTEREST.

I TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL ME ANYMORE AND THAT I WILL NOT PAY THEM. I GUESS I'LL GET A DING ON MY CREDIT REPORT BUT I DON'T CARE.

The same thing happened to me. What a horrible company.

I was 6 months ahead in payments, but I stop receiving statements so I was late on 1 month's payment. When I finally got a new statement, it had $800 in interest charges because they cancelled my 0% interest loan because of one late payment. Of course no one called to notify me of the us. What a scam!

The question is what I can I do about it? I have tried challenging the interest charges but denied it.
